Last night around dusk I was wade fishing at the Saint Croix when the battery died for my GoPro, I walked back to the truck to change it, well while walking back fast to the river I heard something behind me rustling in the grass turned slightly and out of the corner of my eye, I saw something big and black chasing me down the path. I freaked out jumping away from it next thing I knew it lunged at me freakin me out more! then all of a sudden I realize that my net came off the magnet and was being dragged behind me by the lanyard.
Picture a very tall man, 6 foot 7 inches running frantically, in the dead of dusk. screaming. This will put a smile on your face. My inner child resurrected and the boogey monster came out to play with my fishing net and me. It was nice to take a step back in time when there were monsters hidden in the forest waiting to get me.
